Instructor

Tina Foehlinger-Hansen

Tina Foehinger-Hansen began twirling at the age of 3. She is the daughter of Sue and Bob Foehlinger who own Sue’s Stepper-ettes, a 400 member world champion baton studio in Omaha Nebraska.

She is excited to bring what she learned with over 25 years of baton coaching in Nebraska to Colorado!

In addition to baton twirling, Tina also has training in pom, dance and gymnastics. She was the captain of her high school dance team in Ralston, Nebraska, a feature twirler (with her twin sister and brother) for the Nebraska Cornhusker Marching Band and served as Miss Nebraska 2001 where she represented her state at the Miss America pageant that year….of course, her talent was baton twirling! She was also featured in the reality show “True Life” on MTV which chronicled her time preparing for and competing in the Miss America Pageant.

Tina was a member of Team USA at the baton twirling world championships held in Italy in 1996, England in 2000, Holland in 2006 and Belgium in 2009. She served as co-coach of the Sue’s Stepper-ette’s senior team (located in Nebraska) who won the world championships in Switzerland in 2012.

She has a passion for teaching young people baton and pom and can’t wait to inspire students in Castle Rock and surrounding areas.
